British Etiquette and Butler School
The idea for the School was created by Grant Harrold, also known as "The Royal Butler", while working for the Prince of Wales as a member of his household at Highgrove House. The patron is Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina, cousin of HRH Princes William and Harry.
During Grant’s time at Highrove he realised that many households in the UK and further afield may like to learn how to entertain, dine, behave and run their homes and lives according to the finest Royal and British standards.
As well as offering unrivalled experience gained during Grant’s 20 years working in some of the Britain's most exclusive households, The School brings a network of professional relationships with highly regarded companies, individuals and former members and current suppliers of the Royal Household.
We have the contacts and associates necessary to offer our clientele a range of unique services including exclusive etiquette talks, demonstrations and private workshops. These are available to groups or individuals on subjects ranging from Royal Etiquette to our unique etiquette dinner parties. These events are hosted by Grant Harrold, and also may include our other consultants which of course includes HRH Princess Katarina.
Our unique venues include Blenheim Palace, near Oxford, Broomhall House and Borthwick Castle near Edinburgh, The Ritz Hotel, London and Thornbury Castle, near Bristol.
The School provides Butler and Household training for those in the world of Private Service. In 2015 we formed a unique partnership with Blenheim Palace, where we formed The Royal School of Butlers. Please visit The Royal School of Butlers for further information.
